What a year from @beondeck. Excited to see how this community grows in 2021๐.
Started the year with 6 people on the team. All Hands weren't necessary.
Just wrapped our last weekly All Hands of the year with nearly 50 team members on the call. They've become a highlight of the week.
Can't imagine what this year would have been like without these folks. ๐
On Deck has been growing like mad.
Most impressive thing to me is that quality is improving as they scale quickly, which is a really, really hard thing to do.
Major shoutout to the team and all the OD fellows for a great year!
Joining the On Deck Fellowship was one of the best decisions Iโve made during COVID. Iโve met so many incredible people because of it.
This is a glimpse into the inspiring, fast-moving world of @beondeck ๐ฅ
Today we spent some time reflecting on the highs and lows of 2020.
Over the next few days we'll be sharing more about where we're going in 2021 ๐
For me, the @beondeck community has been a beacon of hope that there is a bright future ahead.
Weโre so grateful to everyone who has played a part in it.
2020 has been a wild year, so hereโs a 20-tweet summary of the journey โฌ๏ธ
Not the least bit surprising. Kudos to everyone @beondeck! Keep it going! ๐๐ฅ๐
is the most impactful community I've ever been involved with. It's the launchpad that has allowed me move faster every day.
So thankful for their badass team.

On Deck has been an amazing experience
It lead me to meet the amazing people at the Maker Manor & further connect amazing people @togethercasa
Iโm excited to see where they go in 2021 ๐ https://t.co/qW7rxSg1PD
The two best decisions I made in 2020 were leaving my job to start a company with @MelissaZhang13, and joining @beondeck.
Pretty wild how much On Deck has grown and evolved in just the last 6 months. Canโt event imagine what itโll look like a year from now ๐
My OnDeck journey:
- A community of incredible entrepreneurs all who can switch between emotional support and strategic guidance depending on what you need that moment
- what LinkedIn is supposed to be
- exposure to lots of company building perspectives
Canโt recommend enough.
My experience with On Deck in 2020:
- Several deep friendships and that I expect to last a lifetime.
- Warm intros to customers, talent and advisors.
- Access to capital (Raised $100K+ during ODF6)
- $20K+ in perks (AWS, DocSend, and more)
I kinda feel like crying. So grateful.
I love celebrating the good times, and 2020 was the definition of โgood timesโ for On Deck as an org. On the flip side, On Deck as a community helped hundreds through tough times with empathy, humor, and an unrelenting, ever-smiling hustle that never wanes.
Thank you @beondeck
I joined ODF3 in March & can honestly say this community has had SUCH a huge impact on our year at @sightseekapp.
I found new friends, beta testers, launch partners, angel investors & advice on every conceivable topic in startup land.
Thank you ODF fam!! 2021 is gonna be huge!
The ODW fellowship in Oct was one of my highlights this year. I had been writing for months at that point, out of obligation at times vs. excitement.
Enter ODW. Space for critique, support, and reflection, complemented by a regular spark and fresh motivation to keep writing โจ
I did not understand the benefits of ODF until joining, and btw, I made fun of people beforehand for paying for programs in the early stages of a startup. I was completely wrong. ODF is amazing, the people are like family, and I have lifelong friendships I would have never had.
It's been incredible watching such a talented team from behind the scenes, excited to be part of this journey ๐๐๐
The ODF fellowship has truly been a life-changing experience thatโs set me on a new path. Grateful to learn new things about myself and meet so many supportive, like-minded folks. On Deck is a special community!
So grateful to have joined this incredible team at the tail end of 2020, and canโt wait for all of the amazing things weโll make together in 2021.
On Deck has provided an incredible community at a time when builders need it most. Healthcare startups are RF hard: regulatory $$$$, clinical $$$$, data privacy, IP $$$$, stakeholders, business model... On Deck genuinely backs founders w/experts who give a damn. Much Respect โ๐ฝ๐
2020 was turbulent, but I am incredibly grateful to have joined the @beondeck community this year.
I have to say exactly what everyone else has been saying: being surrounded by this quality of founders, investors, and talent? Truly, truly unparalleled.
Excited for 2021 ๐
In five years, newcomers like On Deck will begin to replace traditional educational institutions.
When they say it's like doing an MBA in a few weeks, they're not far off.
Joins @beondeck, somehow get convinced to get back on Twitter.
Can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for us and the community that we are building!
Joining the @beondeck community was one of the highlights of my year!
Grateful to be apart of it and excited for 2021 ๐
Super grateful to have joined this๐in November. I've had the privilege of watching the team operate behind the scenes and can't wait for what is ahead in 2021 ๐.
I like On Deck, great team and vision!
Cant wait to see what @ani_pai brings to the table in 2021 ๐ซ
When fundraising stopped cold and enterprise budgets froze in March 2020 i freaked tf out.
Luckily, as one of my favorite founders @mishkaorakzai said, "Silicon Valley moved to the cloud".
Forever grateful to the OD team and community for helping me meet the moment. #ODF3
I highly recommend On Deck Fellowship to anyone who is close to starting a new company. Their ability to curate such a high caliber community of builders never ceases to amaze me.
