We chatted last week about building content systems, this week, his is in full swing.

Incredibly sharp guy. Enjoy:

letter.substack.com

I'm a sucker for a concise summary. And I'm a sucker for my own tweets. This thread combines the two.

This incredible human right here took 3,000 of my tweets and condensed them into one psychtastic thread 🛋️. Check it out for a snapshot peek into my mind, and give him a follow for more Big Ideas, summarized ✨

A great way to get to know our new president.

Justin does fantastic work distilling twitter threads to the pull out the main ideas.

Justin is a Twitter powerhouse. Cool video breaking down part of his process https://t.co/RHzPAcvKVS

Wow! Thank you so much @jmikolay for making me seem a hell of a lot wiser than I really am!

People like Justin demonstrate the potential of Twitter. Twitter is the new university.

Wow, can we filter the whole internet through this guy

The Cliff Notes of Twitter. Insanity. How does this guy have only 6K followers? Discovering @jmikolay is like discovering bitcoin when it was trading at $6.

has branded himself as the master distiller, taking thousands of tweets from the best thinkers and summarizing them in a single thread.

Want to learn from the best?

These 3 incredible newsletters capture the essence of curation:

- @farnamstreet's Brain Food (Every Sunday)
- @david_perell's Friday Finds (Every Friday.. Duh)

Subscribe. Don't miss out.

You’re nobody on Twitter until @jmikolay has distilled thousands of your tweets to reveal what makes you tick.

His latest, summarizing the worldview of @EdLatimore, is inspired reading.

@jackbutcher
@david_perell
@mkobach
@shl
@JamesClear
@BerniceKing

Justin is a twitter must-follow. Can’t believe I’m so late to the game.

Ok this is among the top 3 threads I’ve read on twitter. All Time

Bookmarking this, so much to come back to

There is more upside than downside in reading @jmikolay threads.

if you read one thread today, make it this amazing distillation of @mkobach thoughts👇

Find your way into somebody else’s content satellite by making something about them.

@jackbutcher calls it reverse influence.

This is amazing work from Justin.

🧐 @jmikolay created one b̶i̶g̶ huge thread, full of @mkobach's last 3,000 tweets on #socialmedia, life and philosophy, and it doesn't suck. 😃 ⤵️

We don't deserve you Justin

has done it again!

A great summary of Jim's thought process behind investing and life in general 👇

(I fear the thread is incomplete at the moment as it doesn't say anything about @jposhaughnessy's GIF game :P)

This thread might just be more valuable than my degree

There is but one measure of Twitter success:

@jmikolay summarizing your tweets.

this is amazing. thank you for this. 🙏🏾✨

I can’t overstate the value of what @mkobach & @jmikolay are both doing…

→ Justin curates the tweeted thoughts of really smart people. It’s amazing & he’s worth a follow.

→ Mathew’s creating real community, not just blathering on. Follow to learn how to use Twitter wisely!

distills the best tweets from prominent thinkers on twitter.

He spends an insane amount of time and effort to do this.

His ~3.5K follower base is unjustified. He needs to have atleast 10X the follower base.

Please RT and Follow for your own benefit! 🙏🏻😇

So there’s a guy on Twitter who spends lots of time summarizing what other people say on Twitter (not just this one), and ... that’s not a bad angle.

Favorite thing I'll see on Twitter today.

Thx Justin

Some threads are just no brainers to bookmark

This is so good and as a creator I know I've felt or said many of these things.

Really good to see you shed light on this and inspire other creators to get creating.

Probably the best thread out there about Twitter...

4. Thankful for @shl and my awesome coworkers at @gumroad. Grateful to be able to to work with people like @poojary_yash @dvassallo @jmikolay @jackzerby @RandallKanna our wonderful support team, and our brilliant engineers every day.

for the win with that thread

Hmmm... not sure.

For @fast I had a few criteria I was looking for when joining a start-up.

For my own Twitter I wanted to build my network and become a better writer.

For a new @gumroad project I’m working on with @jmikolay, I wanted to get some specific ideas down on paper.

- I’m still shocked @jmikolay has less than 10K followers.

8/ @jmikolay's summarization of how @david_perell writes:

A true masterclass on all things writing.

letter.substack.com/p/the-best-of-…

I love the way @jmikolay distills data and trends down to such easily consumable lessons. This is probably one of my favorites so far, and a great reminder that I need to work on a few things.

The book is a remix of remixes.

@mkobach remixes ideas to produce prolific content on Twitter.

@jmikolay remixes it with his remarkable summary and distillation.

@craigburgess remixes it with his original designs.

Great thread. Thank you for sharing. What will be your list of top 20 Most Interesting People to follow on Twitter?

Just seeing your summaries for the 1st time. Impressive.
You mention working hours for the manual tasks, but it seems internal time is also needed. Total time would depend on volume and nuance of work.
Can you state the min-max on these summaries (and the authors)? Tx 4 ur work.

This brilliant, Justin 👍

Was just reading it over your email newsletter..

Such rich content 🔥
